This page explains how to delete your account and data in Tudomy, the app developed byJuan Camilo Giron and published on the App Store and Google Play. If you are signed in, you can delete your account yourself in the app. If you can't open the app, you can request deletion by email.
- Open Tudomy and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm by typing delete. If you signed in with Apple, you confirm with Apple instead.
Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Can't open the app? Use the email steps below.
Delete your account in the app
This is available to signed-in users (Apple or Google). Guest users have no account to delete (see below).
- Open Tudomy and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type delete to confirm. If you signed in with Apple, you confirm with Apple.
Your account and data are deleted right away, and this cannot be undone. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the Sign in with Apple access we hold for your account. Any purchased interview sessions you haven't used are lost when your account is deleted.
If you can't open the app: request deletion by email
If you can't use the in-app option, for example because you no longer have the app or your device, send us a request by email:
- Send an email to support@tudomy.com with the subject Delete my Tudomy account, from the email address of the Apple or Google account you use to sign in to Tudomy.
- If you can't send from that address, tell us which address it is and we will verify the request by replying to it.
- If you signed in with Apple using "Hide My Email", include the relay address (it ends in@privaterelay.appleid.com). You can find it in your Apple Account settings, under Sign in with Apple.
- We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. Once confirmed, we delete your account and reply when it is done, within 30 days.
Signing out of the app does not delete your account. Uninstalling the app does not delete it either.
If you use Tudomy as a guest (no sign-in)
You don't need to request anything. Guest data is stored under an anonymous identifier that is not linked to your name or email, and it is deleted automatically after 30 days without use. Interview results completed as a guest are deleted after 7 days unless you sign in. Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your device.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently delete:
- your sign-in record, including your email address and Apple or Google account identifier;
- your profile and preferences (stack, concept choices, reminder time, time zone);
- your daily review history, streaks, and XP;
- your voice interview history, including transcripts, scores, and feedback;
- your record of accepting the Terms;
- the link between your account and your device;
- your session credits and your record of purchased interview sessions, including any you haven't used;
- your customer record with our purchases provider, RevenueCat.
If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the Sign in with Apple access tokens for your account. Deletion is permanent, and we do not offer a way to export your data before it is deleted.
What is kept, and for how long
- Free-session allowance records: a one-way, keyed hash of your device identifier, the free-session balance for that device and for your former account identifier, and a record that a sign-up bonus was claimed. We keep these so the free allowance and sign-up bonus cannot be reset by deleting and re-creating an account. They do not include your name, email, or interview content. Kept for up to 90 days.
- Interview conversations held by our voice provider, ElevenLabs (audio and transcript): kept in our ElevenLabs account, where we review them to improve the AI interviewer, for 60 days, then deleted automatically.
- Transcripts sent to our AI scoring provider: kept by that provider for up to 6 months, then deleted.
- App analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase): usage events and crash reports linked to your former account identifier, not to your name or email. Analytics events are kept for 2 months, user-level analytics data for 14 months, and crash reports for 90 days, then deleted automatically. Email us if you want them deleted sooner.
- Backups and technical logs: technical logs are deleted automatically after 1 day. Copies may remain in our providers' backups for a limited time until they are overwritten.
- Your deletion request email: kept as a record that we handled your request for 6 months after we complete it, then deleted.
- Any information we must keep to comply with a legal obligation, for as long as that obligation requires.
How long it takes
Deleting in the app takes effect immediately. For email requests, we confirm we received your request and complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying it. If you are in Colombia, deletion requests are handled as claims (reclamos) and answered within 15 business days, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can also ask us to delete specific data, such as your interview transcripts, while keeping your account. Email support@tudomy.com and tell us what you want deleted.
